Days 7&8!

Hey all! Karin here :) on Thursday (day 7) we took it easy. Woke up aroun 8, then Dan did homework for 4 hours while I did laundry, packed stuff up and yes.... Knit :) Then we got in the car and headed for Vegas!it was a drive, and we did stop for some very late lunch/early dinner and got to REI in Vegas around 7. We didn't leave REI until after they closed, then got to our hotel (the Mirage) and checked in..... And I opened the mini-bar..... And took most of the stuff out. At that point I realized that they automatically charge you once the sensor feels the item is gone. So I racked up over $250 in mini-bar items within 10 mins of being there - even though I had no intention of drinking/eating and of it!! So - go figure.... I cried.... But Dan said he would talk to them in the morning and it would be fine. DAY 8!!! And it wasall fine - charges dropped once the vending dept came and cleared my name! :) Dan went and got Jared P and Andrea M from the airport and after they dropped off Andrea, they headed outta town as fast as they could off to Zion National Park ;) Andrea and I relaxed a bit, had a fun afternoon, walked A LOT, went to the hot tub and had a great half off dinner at the Planet Hollywood resort. We also saw a variety of street performers including a quartet of aerobatic/gymnastic/break-dancing comedians :) it was fun! We got back to the hotel and were in our pajamas by 8:30 :) I mean, common, andrea was up at 4am and 8:30 is her 10:30! But I am gonna get some shut eye too. Tomorrow is an exciting day! I'll tell you more later :) May God show Himself in new ways to each of you this Easter weekend.
