Day 6 - capitol reef national monument

Today we continued westward and made it to capitol reef.  This has to be one of the most isolated national parks in the country,  but that doesn't reflect what it has to offer.  We only had the afternoon so we did our best to make the most of it.  The hike we chose was down a small riverbed that wound through miles of high canyon walls.  The water was chilly but the day was warm enough to make it almost feel good.  It was awesome to be out on such a scenic hike and have it all to ourselves for a few hours.  We didn't see a single person until the last 20 minutes (which was a big change compared to the other parks on our trip).  Our camp stove decided to stop working while we were making dinner so we "had" to eat at a local delicious pizza place. I'm pretty sure Karin would come all the way back here for pizza. Tomorrow we head toward Vegas.
