Karin and I split up and we had friends fly in from the cities. My friend Jared and I headed to Zion National Park for 3 days of hiking. We definitely got our money's worth in awesome views and adventures.
In 2 1/2 days we hiked 30 miles up to the top of zion canyon and out to a remote slot canyon. Things didn't go smoothly, but I think that is part of the fun of it all. Here are a few photos: these are straight off the camera and will look better once I've had a chance to edit them.
Oh my..these are awesome. No wonder you like Zion so much...I hope to get there sometime but I doubt I'll be climbing in the slot!
