Joy in the Journey

I know it's been a few weeks since I've posted anything - so here's a brief update:

We're busy with wedding season! surprised? ;)
We're looking to buy a new home!
We had our first homestudy meeting last Wednesday - it went really well and I will post more later in the week about the outlook for that process!

For today - I wanted to share something else.  I was doing to reading and quite time this morning and I came across this Q&A with a pretty impressive man:

When asked which moment of his career he would re-live if possible, 10-time NCAA Basketball Championship Coach John Wooden replied,

"Each day of practice was, by far, the most fulfilling, exciting, and memorable thing I did as a coach. That’s where I taught those under my supervision how to achieve success as members of a team.”

So today, I urge you, find joy in your journey today.  The big moments are fleeting - it is in the everyday moments of life where you can make a difference, see change and help the world around you.

That is where I am doing my best to be today - as we look to put in an offer on yet another home {hopefully this one is it!} I reflect on the fun that home shopping has been and that unique time D and I have spent in the car, looking on line, walking through homes, laughing about the "nostalgic" value some of them have.

xox,
k :)
