here we are. home. rainy. starting to get back in the swing of things.
We arrived home for only a few short days from our trip to find ourselves driving back to Winona where we celebrated niece Roman's 1st birthday :) it was wonderful to have them in town for such a fine affair!
This last year has gone by so very fast since she was born - and today - left me thinking about what the last year has brought.....
Our busiest wedding season yet! So many wonderful days with fantastic people :)
Dan in his last round of summer classes
The loss of baby B
and just days later - our 4 year anniversary.
Of course a lot more happened - but those were certainly the biggest events.
So where does that leave this year? I know we are just starting May - but that is the start to our year - the new wedding season - another chapter in the life of DnK Photography.
But what about DnK outside of photography?
That is where I just need to find contentedness. I love living in SLP. I, in my own way, love our tiny little home and our postage stamp of a back yard. I am loving my new hobby of knitting. But I would also love a new hobby - say - like - being a momma.
But - I continue to trust and pray that God's timing will ever be good like it always has been. I may knit a thousand baby hats before I put one on my own bitty's head - but no matter when that day comes - I need to challenge myself to find contentedness in every day until then. I have an amazing husband, crazy dogs, a fabulous job and to top that all of - friends that I would walk through fire to get to.
I am blessed.
